East Bali Beach Snorkel Trip

Pick up in a VW 181 Safari jeep early in the morning.
As you leave Southern Bali the road gets less busy and you reach GOA LAWAH, the famous Bat cave. The temple is often big used for ceremonies. It is dedicated to Basukian, a holy serpent and the entrance is filled with lively bats.
The tour continues to the village of Manggis on a mountain road spectacular vistas of the area. The villagers here grow Salak, the tasty snake fruit.
After about one hour TIRTHA GANGGA, a water palace with beautiful pools full of lotuses and interesting stone statues, built by a king of Karang Asem, is visited.  Around noon the safari stops in AMED, a remote fishing village famous for it’s coral reefs. Lunch is served in a lovely warung right on Jameluk beach.
There is time to snorkel and explore the reefs with it’s colorful fish and corals.
One if the highlights of the tour is the following drive on Bali’s most eastern road: high above the ocean with views of hidden beaches and surrounding islands.

Price: U$ 80 p person, children under 12 years with 2 adults half price.
